The Tiwaz rune, which looks like a spear, is a symbol for the God Tyr in Scandinavian and Germanic paganism. Tyr is a great warrior who isn’t afraid to go into battle and take the hits. This rune pendant is quite striking in person, and I’m sad to say I couldn’t quite get the lighting right to display the deep swirls of aqua and white mica.
It measures an inch and a half long including the handmade bail and 3/4 of an inch wide. It comes on a generous brown leatherette cord.
